A woman from the Kostroma region has seen her older sister only in one photograph her entire life, which her father still treasures. In the picture, the girl is about a year old, sitting on her bed and looking into the camera.
But every time the younger daughter tried to find out what happened to her sister, her father abruptly ended the conversation and eventually stopped communicating with her altogether. The mother also refused to answer any questions.
