The Vesta's manual transmission gearshift lever is sticking. What should I do? How can I fix it?
A rather annoying intermittent defect was discovered this winter in my brother's White Vesta. As soon as the frosts set in, followed by temperature fluctuations, the gearshift lever began to stick in one position when shifting into neutral. It's very difficult to notice while driving, and at one point, my brother even shifted into the wrong gear! Especially in traffic.
