FGO Official Discord: How to not manage an official gacha discord
Oh dear. So for anyone unware, after 9 years since the global launch for FGO, Type-Moon and aniplex decided to open an official discord server. Apparantly it was unmoderated and after a few hours of all sorts of madness being posted there the server was locked down. It amazes me how one of the oldest and biggest anime gachas decided that opening a discord server with little to no moderation will turn out well. I will not blame the whole FGO community but this is another instance of a large community having it’s own bad actors inside, something that we’ve seen with other fandoms over the years.
