How to Set Up a Virtual Machine in 86Box to Run Windows 98
In this tutorial, I demonstrate and explain how to configure 86Box to run Windows 98 SE. It is intended for anyone who would like to try 86Box but might feel intimidated by all of the configuration options and/or does not know a whole lot about older PC hardware.
I chose a configuration that is pretty typical for 1998-99 and powerful enough to run games. I also explain a little bit about IDE and other components, and why I made the selections that I did. You can always configure your system differently! This is just an example and a kind of guideline.
