Hoje vamos falar sobre mais uma ferramenta da Disciplina Positiva que é:
ESCUTE
As crianças vão te escutar melhor depois que elas se sentirem ouvidas.
Perceba a frequência que você interrompe, explica, defende a sua posição, dá uma lição ou dá ordens à criança quando ela tenta conversar com você. Pare e somente ouça. É okay você perguntar: “Você pode me dar um exemplo?” , “Tem alguma coisa a mais que você queira falar?” Quando a criança terminar de falar, pergunte se ela quer te ouvir. Depois de compartilhar o seu ponto de vista, foque na solução que funciona para você e a criança.

Today we are going to talk about another Positive Discipline tool, which is:
LISTEN
Children will listen to you better once they feel heard.
Notice how often you interrupt, explain, defend your position, lecture, or give a command to your child when they try to talk to you. Stop and listen. It's okay for you to ask, "Can you give me an example?", “Is there anything else you want to talk about?” When your child is finished talking, ask if they want to listen to you. After sharing your point of view, focus on the solution that works for you and your child.
