In this video we discuss how to convert complex numbers from rectangular form to polar (or trig or cis) form. So we're going from a + bi to rcis(t) form. We talk about how to find r, the modulus or absolute value of the complex number, and how to find theta. After walking through everything we then do a few examples. The first two examples have ugly angles. The second two examples involve famous angles from the Unit Circle, which are much more common problems to deal with.
