How to change root password without administrator privileges at Ubuntu 16.04
1.Stop after the BIOS screen, hold down the left Shift key.
2.Click on the Recovery Mode
3.At Menu driven Recovery Mode menu select Root
4.Follow the commands
5.Just substitute the Username for your machine as mine was tanzeebsamee
6. Exit and resume boot.
