She was sitting on an old couch by the side of the road.
A tiny puppy, all alone — as if she was simply waiting.
I was on my way home when I noticed her among the trash by the roadside.
She didn’t run away, but she didn’t trust me right away either.
It took a little patience and a bit of food to get closer.
That’s how Lapa’s story began — a puppy who was afraid of everything, except warmth.
We learned together: how to go down stairs, how to walk outside, how to trust.
Now Lapa has a new home and a real family.
I often remember how she fell asleep in the car, resting her paw on me.
Now everything will be fine.
