Mini Titanium Flashlight + Prybar = Cool EDC or Gimmick?
Rodman sent me their 01B Mini Titanium Flashlight from their Kickstarter campaign to test and review. As always, these are my honest thoughts.
At around $74 CAD (~$55 USD), the 01B offers a titanium alloy body, built-in prybar, RGB and UV side light, pocket clip, and multiple light modes. It sounds promising on paper — but in real use, I was left disappointed. The prybar marred quickly, the pocket clip broke on the first carry, and the mode system forces you to cycle through brightness and strobe mode instead of directly selecting a level.
Kickstarter can be a great place to find unique EDC gear, but it’s also a reminder that not every campaign delivers the durability or usability you’d expect.
