Vera Snezhnaya graduated from a music school in piano class, and then from a music school, and after a theater studio, where she studied with Andrei Danilko, Vera entered GITIS in the pop department.
Vera began her creative path by working in groups of already well-known performers of the chanson genre - Alexander Kalyanov, V. Tokarev, L. Uspenskaya, and many others. In parallel with this, work was carried out on the first solo album, which was released in 2002 under the title “Girl from a Distant City”. Later, a video was shot for the song of the same name, which was included in the third collection of video clips “Stars of Russian Chanson - 3”.
In the same year, Vera Snezhnaya was awarded the following prizes: “Worthy Song 2002”, “Queen of Chanson”, a diploma for “Best Duet” with M. Sheleg for the song “House of Cards”, and also, already in 2003, she became a laureate honorary prize "For the best embodiment of a female image" at the 3rd international festival "Songs Sung by the Heart" by the decision of "Adult Radio Chanson 106 FM" in Kiev. Of course, this indicates that Vera Snezhnaya was noticed and appreciated by the listeners.
In 2004, Snezhnaya recorded her second album, “From Date to Date.” He actively tours and visits Dnepropetrovsk, Krasnoyarsk, Kyiv, Sochi, and St. Petersburg with concerts. He begins work on his third album, “Playing Silently,” which was released in 2005. Vera Snezhnaya tried herself not only in music, but also on television. She hosted the programs “Starry Night of Chanson” on TVC, “Golden Rain” on TV-3. She has participated in festivals more than once: “Worthy Song”, “Black Rose”, “Song Sung by the Heart”, “Concert in Memory of Mikhail Krug at Luzhniki”, “Star Blizzard” and many others.
