Hi people, the following information might contain spoilers to this video.

some links before the results:
The Deadmau5 Masterclass (i personally found it very interesting):

Fabfilter demo's to try:

The Final Snowcone track:

Audacity (it's free!):

So the final results from the Phase Cancellation Test with Ableton as source in the FL studio 12 vs Studio One 3 battle are,

It seems there is more difference between the original file & studio one's render.
There isn't any difference between the original & fl studio's render.
There's allot of difference between the multiband versions.

Explaining these results,

Studio One might have rendered a slightly different .wav file or it might have been slightly out of sync, we heard some very high frequency's and those are also the first you hear when out of sync.
FL studio & Audacity might use the same engine, playing engine or rendering engine?
This is a big one, there seems to be allot of difference between both multiband fab versions.

That last one is a big deal, since we mostly rendered pure files that might not give us all the info we need.
FL Studio's render/sound might be very different after all and perhaps lower quality when it comes up to external vst effects, which is THE big deal.

Wooow wait!

So FL studio & Ableton might share the same render quality but, we were basicly assuming Ableton had the highest quality audio in this video because it was the source for the experiment.
It could also be the opposite, that Studio One renders better then Ableton because of that difference?

So we'll do more tests in the future ofcourse!
