I've been suffering from crazy frame stutter since Update 10 (in April) and the following steps where able to make the game playable again for me:
Step 0
Delete everything in your PUBG config folder at: C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Local\TslGame (or rename it if you want to back it up)
And move your game to an SSD
Step 1
Remove your windows page files everywhere but leave one in an SSD and set the Initial Size and Maximum size to the recommended
Step 2
Stop the following services in your ms config:
NVIDIA LocalSystem Container
NVIDIA NetworkService Container
NVIDIA Display Container LS
NVIDIA Telemetry Container Container
Step 3
Uninstalled AVG anti-virus if you have it… I feel like since uninstalling it the stutter is less frequent. Maybe PUBGs anti-cheat is doing something weird it doesn’t like?
Step 4
Disable “control flow guard” in your Windows Defender Security Center for the following files:
BEService.exe
TslGame.exe
TslGame_BE.exe
Step 5
Change your mouse polling rate to 125 or 250
Step 6
Set the priority of the following processes to realtime or high in your task manager details after launching the game:
BEService.exe
TslGame.exe
TslGame_BE.exe
Hopefully this is able to help someone else with the same issue!
The game has been completely unplayable for me until now.
