Animated Text Color Fill in Squarespace (Quick CSS Trick)
Want to create a smooth color fill animation for your text in Squarespace? In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to build it using CSS only.
We’ll start by creating a two-color gradient and setting it up so each color can fully cover your text. Then, you’ll learn how to control that gradient using background-size and background-position to create the animation effect. After that, we’ll clip the gradient into the text using background-clip and remove the default font color so the effect becomes visible.
Finally, we’ll bring everything together using keyframes and the animation property to create a smooth transition from one color to the next!
