Want to make your Figma designs interactive with clickable hyperlinks? This step-by-step tutorial shows you how to add hyperlinks to text, shapes, frames, and even pages in Figma.
Select the text or object you want to hyperlink.
For text: Double-click to enter editing mode, highlight the word or phrase, and click “Create Link” in the top toolbar (or press Ctrl + K on Windows / Cmd + K on Mac).
Enter or paste the URL in the dialog box and press Enter. Your text is now a clickable hyperlink[1][3][5].
For objects or shapes: Use the Prototype tab in the right sidebar to add links to frames or pages.
To link to another page or frame: Right-click the target page or frame in the left panel, select “Copy Link,” and paste it as your hyperlink[1][5].
Preview your links in Prototype mode—click the element to test the link.
Hyperlinks work in presentation and prototype view, making your designs more interactive and user-friendly.
You can also link to external websites, specific frames, pages, or even entire projects for seamless navigation within your Figma files[1][3][5].
