KUBOL FESTIVAL 2024 - Macalelon, Quezon || Ella Quimno
During Holy Week the participating barangays construct "Kubol" (miniature church) to house the Fourteen Stations of the Cross along streets of Macelelon. Made of indigenous materials such as bamboo, nipa, coconut, grass, seashells & etc. "Kubol" are built where devotees gather to recite the traditional "Pabasa ng Pasyon".
