Today I am talking about Raw Gold by the house of Thomas de Monaco. A beautiful fragrance that seems most fittingly described as a honey perfume, although I get so much more than that. This fragrance, which is an extrait in concentration, opens up with a warm sweetness reminiscent of an apricot drizzled with honey. As the fragrance dries down, the glistening sweetness starts to subside as notes of iris, patchouli and woods contrast what I perceive as a slightly fruity honey note in here. A long lasting, reliable fragrance that I enjoy having in my collection.
