Boston will host the Red Bull Heavy Metal snowboarding contest on February 22, 2025 at City Hall Plaza. Here's a video of the Red Bull Sledstyle snowmobile competition which featured Heath Frisby that took place at the same location.
This is from December 31, 2009 ( New Year's Eve ). It was originally shot in 720 60fps and exported to the same settings when I was done editing. I then uploaded the video to Vimeo. Since I'm unable to find the original files and the edited video which could be in an old broken hard drive, I had to rip the streaming 720 30fps version from Vimeo. The quality is far worse.
Because of how bad the streaming video looks, I decided to use Topaz Video AI 6.0 to upscale it to 4K. If one day, I'm able to find the original files, I will probably use the software on that and upload this event again so that a much higher quality version goes online. I used the Proteus model.
I really wish I had posted this video on YouTube back then. It would have showed up as 720 60fps. I also wish I have gotten to this event earlier since I did not get the whole thing. I also would have been closer to the action. Unfortunately I'm not able to change the past.
Was using the Panasonic GH1 + 14-140mm lens. Autofocusing wasn't great at all unlike current Panasonic cameras which have gotten way better.
