AutoCAD’s journey to the web, Dania El Hassan
AutoCAD created disruptive change with its innovations to develop computer aided design systems on the PC. 35 years later, the team brought that innovation (and same codebase) to the web using WebAssembly and the Emscripten toolchain. This talk will describe the journey that the AutoCAD team took to get here, the architecture of the web app, and the impact it’s had on the AutoCAD web application.
