Spring Cloud Config Server Tutorial with Example for Cloud Developer
In this video we will learn how to create spring cloud configuration server and eureka service registry server step by step in spring boot framework. Service registry will be use for service discovery. Configuration server is used to store application configuration in central storage. Application, microservices connect configuration server to fetch respective configuration from central storage.
Spring cloud configuration server is based on the open-source Spring Cloud Config project which provides central repository for configuration. Config server helps in managing the external configuration for distributed applications across all environments.
Spring Cloud is a Spring module that provides the RAD (Rapid Application Development) feature to build cloud applications. Spring Cloud is a framework for building robust cloud applications.
Service Discovery is a database containing the network locations of service instances. The popular example of server-side service discovery is AWS Elastic Load Balancer (ELB).
