You can add Annotations to Functions in Python

Annotations are basically defining what type of arguments are to be given to a function and what type it will return. By providing annotations, it doesn't mandate that you have to give that type of arguments only, but rather these are of great help when using IDE's as they tell you that you should give this type of input to this function, and it will return this type of value.
