If, instead of operating, I start chanting "Om Namah Shivaya," I will experience devastation... And that's true. Divine attainment has always been the Pinnacle of Development. Professor Preobrazhensky is Sri Yukteswar, Lahiri Mahasaya, and countless other saints who, having succeeded in the worldly realm, hit the wall of intellectual limitations. Having mastered the "Kriya" technique, with their inherent inner discipline, respect, and diligence (which is the hallmark of all people who have achieved respect in this world), they achieved Spiritual Enlightenment. The impasse of modern "spirituality" lies in the substitution of concepts. Lazy, stupid, and mentally ill people believe, and convince others, that poverty, illness, and devastation are signs of "spirituality." While in ancient times, even very recently—before Christ—it was known that external devastation, as well as internal poverty, are signs of the absence of the Divine within a person. And prosperity, nobility, and wisdom are signs of connection with the Divine.
