Bose Soundtouch Portable turn off and booting issue error

When connected to the power supply, the speaker is stuck in a never-ending boot loop. After unplugging the power supply and waiting about 13 minutes, the speaker eventually completes the booting cycle after several attempts.
The issue also occurs when the speaker is in standby mode (not playing). The speaker has already been serviced twice.
