This song is the eleventh in a series of "aural environments.”
The lush chords, mellow synths, steady bass, and dancing percussion are meant to evoke the feeling of taking in the sun at this iconic beach in Malibu. The Rhodes solo provides a brief excursion into unknown waters. It's a combination of the classic "Environments" soundscapes of the late 60s/early 70s and grooves we write to remember these places.
