The HARRY POTTER Camera! Argus "The Brick"
Camera featured in the Harry Potter film universe, specifically in the second installment of the saga, The Chamber of Secrets. It is the Argus C3, in black (id. 833). This piece was manufactured in the USA between 1939 and 1966, practically throughout the entire activity developed by the American company Argus (1936-1969). And a little more than 60 years later, in 2002, it appeared on the big screen through the literary characters of J. K. Rowling. Perhaps many of you remember the scene in which the likeable Colin Creevay, one of Harry Potter's companions, appears with a rather curious camera, in keeping with the whole framework, also known worldwide as the ‘brick’ camera, due to its size and weight. In fact, the camera appears almost a dozen times throughout the film.

Rowling.Quizás muchos de vosotros recordáis la escena en que el simpático Colin Creevay, uno de los compañeros de Harry Potter, aparece con una cámara fotográfica bastante curiosa, a tono con todo el entramado, también conocida mundialmente como la cámara “ladrillo”, debido a su tamaño y peso. De hecho, la cámara aparece en casi una docena de veces a lo largo de toda la película.
