Die Forelle, (The #Trout) is a classic #German folk song. It was composed and set for voice and piano by Franz Schubert Opus 32 D. 550 in 1817 based on the poem of Christian Friedrich Daniel Schubart. It is the basis for the theme of the fourth movement of Schubert’s Piano the Trout Quintet.
It tells the story of an observer who enjoyed seeing a trout swimming in a clear brook and then got enraged as it got caught by a fisherman in a tricky way.
Die Forelle, (La Truite) est une chanson classique allemande. Elle a été composée en 1817 pour être chantée en accompagnement avec le piano par Franz #Schubert en se basant sur un poème écrit par Christian Friedrich Daniel Schubart. Elle constitue la base pour le thème du quatrième mouvement du quintet Die Forelle.
Elle parle d’un observateur sur la rive d’un ruisselet clair qui jouissait la vue d’une truite heureuse capricieuse mais fut furieux quand un pêcheur l’a attrapée en trichant.
