A use case for the Helium Network

This is an Open/Close sensor that uses the Helium Network. This video was meant for my hotspot hosts who wanted to know more of what the Helium Network does. A lot of sensors can be connected to the network and send small data packets through LoRa which the hotspots pass on. LoRa (Long Range Radio) is a wireless protocol developed by Semtech for low-power, long-range communication.

This is much cheaper than if the sensors needed a SIM card to operate.
