Auto-create Freelance Briefs from Trello Keywords using Gemini API
I just built a smart workflow that takes keywords straight from my Trello cards and uses Google’s Gemini AI to automatically generate detailed, ready-to-use freelance briefs — then saves them directly to Google Docs!
Here’s how it works: I start with a Trello card containing keywords or notes about the project. The automation fetches this data, then sends it to Gemini, which generates a full, detailed freelance brief based on those keywords.
After that, the response from Gemini comes back as a structured JSON, so I use parsing steps in Make.com to extract the actual text. Finally, the brief gets automatically saved to a Google Doc for easy access and sharing.
Building this was surprisingly smooth. The hardest part was making sure the API requests matched Gemini’s format exactly and parsing the output correctly. But once that was sorted, the flow runs flawlessly and saves me a lot of time.
