Jay Plays - Fluid Concept v1
Now that my Cinema Title Sequence is looking handsome, I'm looking for a more interesting short on what's displayed on the screen for a few seconds. This will serve as a transition into the live presentation. During the weekend stream I had the idea of filling out the letters with liquid, so here's a first test of the concept. I've used only one flow object, indenting the letters with a boolean operation to see if this might work.
It looks OK, although there's quite a lot of it and it's not as fast as I would like it to be. I did some speeding up in post production, the original was a 1000 frame animation. Ideally I'll have one flow object per letter, each of them starting on a small delay so that the words are written out.
Another idea was the Erosion Concept, in which the liquid keeps running and the words gradually appear by way of a morph. I'm having hours of fun playing with these things!
