Trick to play the Bb chord on the ukulele
In this video, you will learn a simple yet effective ukulele trick to play barre chords for both chord. Barre chords can be challenging for beginners, but with this trick, you'll be able to play Bbmaj7 chord whenever you see a Bb barre chord on the uke.
First, you'll learn the standard finger placement for the Bb chord, which involves using your index finger to barre the first fret strings 1 and 2, then placing your 2nd finger on the 3rd string 2nd fret, and your 3rd finger on the 4th string 3rd fret. Both high G and low G will work for this video. Then, you'll see how the same finger placement can be used to play the Bbmaj7 chord by simply removing your 1st finger from the 1st string, thus playing the string open and avoiding to having a bar chord.
