Dog Body Language - What to Look for
Did you know LICKING and YAWNING could be stress signals from your puppy? 😱 They don't lick to “kiss you”, but it’s because you taste/smell interesting, they’re trying to get more information, or they’re saying “I’m all done!”. Make sure if you see this, you look for other cues like turning away or walking away, which means to stop what you’re doing. If your puppy does want more of what you’re doing, they’ll turn towards you and maybe even put a paw on you! It’s SO important to look for these cues - it’s how your dog communicates!
