Use case 1 - Prediction of culinary preferences based on the cultural origin:
• The first use case is an extraordinary example of how a simple algorithm as SVM combined with business domain knowledge can be used for improving customer satisfaction while reducing meal wastage.
Use case 2 - Automated categorization of emails:
• The second use case represents the application of the popular algorithm BERT to the email classification problem.
• We've automated a fully manual process of reading emails, classifying them, and scoring the level of urgency.
• While automation helped with significant cost savings, it introduced less delay with answers and actions thus improving customer satisfaction.
• It also incorporated human in the loop process, where it is clearly visible how machine algorithms and human competence work hand in hand in delivering better business decisions.
