Dustin Angell, Archbold Biological Station’s Director of Education, will present an overview of Archbold's research, conservation, and education projects. Archbold is a non-profit field station in the Headwaters of the Florida Everglades with a mission to build and share the scientific knowledge needed to protect the life, lands, and waters of the heart of Florida and beyond. Audience will learn about Archbold’s conservation initiatives as a part of the Florida Wildlife Corridor as well.

Dustin Angell is an environmental educator and conservation photographer living and working in the headwaters of Florida's Everglades. As the Director of Education at Archbold Biological Station in Venus, FL, he builds community relationships and interprets ecological research for audiences of all ages. Dustin holds a Bachelors of Fine Arts from Alfred University. Dustin’s photography, which highlights science and environmental stewardship, has been published nationally in Living Bird and Birding magazines; a recent collaboration with The Wild Center, in New York State, resulted in a permanent Climate Change Solutions exhibit. Dustin is the two-time former President of the League of Environmental Educators in Florida and a recipient of the Outstanding Educator Award from the Florida Chapter of the Wildlife Society.
