The Soviet Union news feature from 1990
Kerry O'Berry and I spent a month or more traveling all over the Soviet Union around 1989-1990. We worked with several very talented and producers from the Family Channel that gave us all the time in the world to film the documentary. I remember being at the Soviet White House just days before the building was attacked. We spent some time outside their White House talking with the people about there concerns. I had a special moment when an elderly woman learned I was from America. She proceeded to chase me around hitting me with her umbrella. We made the local tv news show. Americans were being attacked!!! There are soo many stories.
