I have not made a vlog for this channel for 6 weeks, since coming back from Chiang Mai in fact.
I have lost the buzz that I used to get filming in public. I now hesitate to take the camera out and speak to it.
I also realize I have nothing to say, I am just repeating what other vloggers have said and done.
I have recently watched an American vlogger literally beg on his vlog for money from Malaysians and he got over RM13,000. I am appalled that he had the nerve to do that and secondly depressed that people sent him money. A man from America and begging from the locals, f**king disgusting.
I would not mind but his vlogs are nothing special. He is also the same vlogger a friend of mine saw begpacking in Langkawi. He loves travelling on other people money it seems.
So, after 7 years of vlogging, mostly in Johor but also in Indonesia, Korea, Singapore, Brunei, Thailand, the UK and other countries I realize people just don't find me engaging.
So, right now I am kind of lost. I don't want to give up the vlog, but i actually get more views on my channel 'The Camera Never Lies' And I don't even talk on that.
It takes me minutes to edit and post those videos. The trouble is I get no real sense of satisfaction out of them.
I will be back next week.
