I grew up with Jimi - he made me first want to pick up a guitar and play . I had just started at secondary school when Jimi broke in 1967 . We all of us went crazy for him right off the bat - ( well , there were one or two David Cassidy fans I suppose ! )
I remember buying the albums as they were released . Great days .
