The Extinct Belgian Mastiff War Dog
A unique feature of the interwar Belgian Army was the use of dogs as motive power for carriages. Towing things like machineguns around, the Belgian Mastiff’s purpose was declared obsolete by greater use of the internal combustion engine. The dog breed, as far as we know, no longer exists.
