Inkscape 1.1 Tutorial: Creative Type and Blending Modes
In today’s tutorial I’ll be demonstrating how to create a CREATIVE type with blending modes with Inkscape 1.1.
Step by step
00:00 | Inkscape 1.1 Tutorial: Creative Type and Blending Modes
00:11 | Grab the TEXT TOOL and type "CREATIVE" in Montserrat Heavy font.
00:27 | Convert text to paths and ungroup.
00:39 | While the objects are selected grab the TWEAK TOOL. Increase width and force.
00:54 | Change mode to jitter the color. Disable the saturation and opacity channels.
01:03 | Change color and click and drag to objects. This way we can change their colors randomly.
01:26 | With the objects dialog, let's change their blending mode to multiply.
01:48 | Let's arrange objects so that they overlap to each other.
02:27 | We can attain different blending effects with different blend modes.
02:47 | Lets grab again the TWEAK TOOL. To see the full effect, well enable the opacity channel.
