Hey guys!
Here are my full opinions on the characters briefly explained
Chihiro: lovable and heartwarming! Also well written. He manages to be a huge part of the plot despite dying in chapter 2 (which is usually the chapter where all the underrated characters die).
Tenko: despite the whole degenerant male thing, she's such an amazing friend. I also love her backstory. I don't think she shouldve died in chapter 3 tho as she was just starting to develop.
Gonta: same as Chihiro, but I like him more because of how perfectly his backstory explains his character. He didn't deserve what happened to him in chapter 4 :(
Celeste: the thing I love about her the most is that she manages to be a genuinely awful person while not making me uncomfortable like other trial 3 murderers (one of which is my least favourite character in the franchise). There are other things I really like about her aswell, such as her aesthetic, and ultimate talent concept.
Mondo: I'm so freaking sad that he died so early on. I love his personality, his backstory and his friendship with Taka. Its a shame how he's just a joke to the fandom.
Akane: same as Mondo, but to more of an extent. Like Gonta, I love how her backstory fits with her character and explains why she is how she is. She's so overhated for dumb reasons.
Shuichi: I'm a sucker for a good character arc, so no surprise that I would love Shuichi. I love the concept of an insecure detective aswell. He reminds me of my no1 favourite a lot
Toko: Toko is a huge comfort character for me, I relate to her quite a lot and think she's funny. Her character development in UDG is also incredible.
Fun fact: I used to hate toko, and then I realised how I relate to her, and then got through UDG, and grew to love her.
Sakura: idk why I like her so much, but I do. Something about her is just so, special. She's a character I love despite not seeming like someone I would like
Fuyuhiko: I adore everything about him. From his design, his concept, his development, everything! They could've easily killed him off in chapter 2 or 3, but nope! He got the flawless character development he deserves! He's my favourite part about not only SDR2, but the whole franchise. He's not just my favourite danganronpa character, but my favourite character, ever.
