This little girl was fighting cancer. Her father had delayed cutting her hair for as long as he could but finally, with trembling hands, he picked up the scissors. The little girl, unaware of what was happening, smiled and chatted with her mother. With every strand that fell, her father’s heart broke a little more; silent tears streamed down his face. Her mother watched quietly, holding her daughter’s hand. In that moment, love and pain filled the room in silence.
