I played Skyrim's Clockwork mod and nearly quit on the spot. Despite being widely regarded as one of the greatest—and most terrifying—lore-friendly quest mods ever made, I had no idea what I was getting myself into.
"Clockwork" is a DLC-sized mod packed with a fully voiced questline, an incredible player home, rich Dwemer lore, and just enough horror to keep you constantly on edge. In this video, I tackle the entire adventure from start to finish: exploring the mansion, escaping the Shadow, restoring the steam system, and uncovering the truth behind Ludwig and the Gilded.
