Update your system
Install GNOME packages
Configure the X Window System, which runs the graphical environment on most Linux systems
Install GNOME Desktop (GUI)
Enable GUI
Reboot the server
To set GUI as default, run `systemctl set-default graphical.target`
To check if the GUI is working, run `startx`
By default, a full installation of CentOS 7 will have the graphical user interface (GUI) installed and it will load up at boot. However, it's possible that the system has been configured to not boot into the GUI.
