Welcome to the beautiful wood tone kitchen designed for #ProjectBungalow by #MPD.
We loved working with our clients and long time friend and contractor, Tim Sellers, on this updated home. Renovating a kitchen really brings us so much joy, because it truly is the heart of the home. In this case, our clients love to cook and surround themselves with family, and this is now designed to be the perfect space to do that.
By opening up the walls and flooding the new space with natural light, we were able to open up the back wall to the views of the backyard and of the over 50 year old apple tree. Using double-hung windows to allow for air flow and a touch of craftsman detail, we creating a viewing gallery from the new modern farm house sink.
The medium wood tone on the oak kitchen is offset by the mix of dark and light honed quartz countertops, and the new lighting adds more purpose and comfort to the kitchen space.
We loved incorporating a signature #MPDesign detail on the end of the island with some book and accessory storage to break up the wood tone island.
