Woormy Charles - Spooky's Jump Scare Mansion: HD Renovation (Endless Mode)
This is a demonstration video of Woormy Charles' introduction room, chase, and respawn chase in Endless Mode of Spooky's Jump Scare Mansion: HD Renovation. Woormy Charles is one of four dolls from Spooky's Dollhouse that were added to Endless Mode in the Halloween 2021 update.
Woormy Charles is also known by some fans as Doll 2.
Charles has his own starting room, resembling the storage room found in the West Wing of Spooky’s Dollhouse. When being chased, he will appear somewhere in the room and wander around until he sees the player. Charles can be struck and pushed away with the axe or sword, and he will be killed after 10 hits with the axe or sword (which is shown in the second encounter in this video). Using the axe or sword to attack him requires good timing, which is something I apparently suck at.
In my opinion, Woormy Charles really isn't much of a threat at all when he's chasing alone. And even when something else chases with him, the only thing the player will have to watch out for is Charles body-blocking the path, especially in a tight narrow corridor. I noticed it can sometimes be a slight challenge to get past him when he's just standing there. This isn't a major issue and you can easily get past him within a second or two, but every second is precious when being chased by faster specimens and monsters. Therefore, I can see where it could become an issue if he's blocking the path, but NOWHERE near as annoying as Husks. Otherwise, Charles' chase is pretty easy and tame despite his supersonic speed skills.
Also, I'm disappointed that the developers decided to just use the basic, lackluster chase theme for him from the DLC, rather than the track "Charles" that was part of the Dollhouse OST. I could be very wrong, but I'm assuming Akuma Kira composed the track specifically to be used as the Endless Mode chase theme for Woormy Charles (just like Kira did for Ghost Cow's upgraded chase theme in Endless Mode, for example). But they didn't use it, as most people thought they would, so now it's just an unused track. Hopefully someday they'll decide to add it, and if they do, I'll be sure to find Charles again and upload a second chase video.
