Lenovo Ideapad 110S SSD Upgrade!
In this video I do an upgrade to the 32GB eMMC included storage on this cheap Ideapad 110s laptop. This is one of the models that still offered the m.2 slot to add your own SSD. The model right after this removed the ability to upgrade by completely removing the slot all together.
This is a budget laptop and cost me about $150 3 years ago open box. It has a Celeron processor and only 2GB of ram. The eMMC storage is very slow and limited to the point that I could not even update the computer to the latest Windows 10 version.
Will this SSD improve the laptop? YES. More storage and MUCH faster read and write speeds offer a decent experience now. The laptop is still limited by its processor and RAM which cannot be changed.
If you have one of these laptops, definitely consider buying one of these. It takes an M.2 2280 SSD.
