CKAN can also be installed as Docker containers using Docker Compose. This method provides a clean and quick way to deploy a local CKAN without extensions, while still allowing the addition (and customization) of extensions. In this video CKAN 2.9 is installed with Docker on Ubuntu 20.04.
CKAN is the world’s leading open-source data portal platform, where you can download and get it running on your system in a virtual server; you can run it in the cloud or on any Linux based hosting infrastructure you like.
