Is it a Vase or Two Faces?
Sometimes in analytic work it s as if having worked for a time from one perspective (say, the vase) suddenly, out of the mist as it were, two faces emerge. Do we seitch perspectives, From Freud to Kohut for example? D we oscillate between them? Or do we strive for a higher-order synthesis that somehow does justice to both?
