The UK Government has introduced the Innovative Finance ISA to allow individuals to earn tax-free income from peer to peer lending.
The 'IFISA' is expected to help as many as 400,000 lenders in the UK and will provide much-needed support to the UK's 5.2 million small and medium sized businesses (SMEs).
The Innovative Finance ISA launched in April 2016 and sits alongside the existing Cash ISA and Stocks & Shares ISAs.
