The CMA Exam provides what is called a “scaled score.” This is the process of taking into account that each individual exam that is drawn from the database of questions is going to be a bit different. And some Exams will be a bit more difficult or easier than other Exams. So, getting 70% of the MCQs correct on one Exam may be a better result than getting 71% on a different exam. The scaled scores range from 0 to 500 and 360 is the passing mark. This does not, however, mean that you need to get 72% of the points to pass.
