When I talk to health practitioners the top problem is they don’t know how to attract new clients. This means they don’t understand the fundamental rules of client attraction. You know how to treat but this is more about understanding what’s really behind attracting more clients.

Here’s an overview:
Many health practitioners operate from fear and lack. This ‘scarcity mentality’ drives them to DO more rather than BE more. DO more looks like, more advertising, more social media, more networking etc. DOING is working harder, BEING is working smarter. Knowing where to focus your energy is key when it comes to client attraction. We have grown to believe in fear, powerlessness and doubt. We are seduced into committing time and money into promotional campaigns which is often compulsive, mis-guided and therefore, ineffective.
Here’s three ways you can get more clients:
1. Write down how many new clients and how many regular clients you want to see next week. Be specific. How many each shift? Then turn this into a positive affirmation, e.g. ‘I want to see 20 regular clients and 3 new clients next week’. Read aloud several times a day.
2. Set up a one on one meeting with a fellow practitioner in your practice. Offer a free treatment. Find out how to best refer to them first then tell them more about what you do. Cross referral within a practice is an easy way to get more clients.
3. Write a blog and publish it on your practice website. By sharing your expertise, clients will start to know you not just the practice.
