Easy Method to Cull Shrimp and on How to Catch Shrimp
Hey shrimp keepers, I wanted to do a quick Monday video on how to easily catch shrimp out of any aquariums. This technique is especially good for catching shrimp out of a heavily planted shrimp tank.
Catching shrimp from an aquarium can be a difficult task. What I do is simple add a net to the bottom of the shrimp tank, add food and wait 45 minutes. Once time as passed, tons of shrimp will find their way into the net. At this time, remove the net nice and slow. You should have caught a large majority of the shrimp in the aquarium.
This technique is also good for culling a shrimp tank. By catching the majority of the shrimp in the tank. You can add the shrimp to a container (dip and poor) and pull out the undesirable shrimp (culls). This is a great way to keep your colony strong, healthy and colorful.
